  • The working principle of ammonia injection system is based on the monitoring and control of process parameters to realize the precise injection of ammonia. Taking the common denitrification ammonia injection system as an example, firstly, liquid ammonia is delivered from the liquid storage tank through the ammonia pump, and fully mixed with the air delivered by the dilution fan in the ammonia/air mixer. Then, according to the SCR inlet and outlet NOx, O₂ monitoring analyzer measurements, flue gas temperature measurements, flue gas flow and other parameters, the required ammonia injection volume is calculated. Based on the calculation results, the controller controls the opening of the ammonia flow control valve to precisely regulate the flow of the ammonia/air mixture. Finally, the gas mixture is injected through the ammonia injection grid into the inlet flue of the reactor, where it mixes well with the flue gas and enters the SCR reactor, where the denitrification reaction takes place, converting the nitrogen oxides in the flue gas into harmless nitrogen and water.

    Application

    Flue gas denitrification: In thermal power generation, steel, cement and other industrial fields, the combustion process generates a large amount of flue gas containing nitrogen oxides (NOx). Ammonia injection system, as a key component of selective catalytic reduction (SCR) denitrification process and selective non-catalytic reduction (SNCR) denitrification process, injects ammonia into the flue gas, and under catalyst (SCR process) or specific temperature conditions (SNCR process), ammonia reacts chemically with NOx and converts it into nitrogen and water, so as to achieve the purpose of lowering the emission of NOx in the flue gas and reducing the environmental pollution. The purpose of this process is to reduce NOx emission from flue gas and reduce environmental pollution.

    Water treatment: Ammonia injection system is also important in the process of water purification and treatment.
