Boiler steel structures are metal structural systems that support the boiler body and auxiliary equipment. Based on function, application scenarios, and structural form, they can be divided into the following main product types:

Columns (support columns)

Types: H-section columns, box-section columns, circular columns (for large spans);

Form: Cross steel tie rods (flexible support), angle steel/channel steel rigid support;

Function: To resist horizontal wind and earthquake forces, maintaining the longitudinal stability of the frame.

Horizontal support (planar support)

Arrangement: Within each floor frame plane, using angle steel or round steel cross arrangement;

Function: To prevent frame plane deformation, and transfer horizontal forces.

3. Enclosure and auxiliary system

Cladding and insulation structure

Composition: Outer steel plate (thickness 3-5mm) + middle insulation layer (rock wool, aluminum silicate fiber, thickness 50-100mm) + inner sealing plate;

Function: Heat insulation, sealing, reducing heat loss (insulation efficiency ≥90%).

Platforms and stairs

Structure: Grating platform (load-bearing ≥3kN/m²) + steel stairs + guardrails (height ≥1.2 meters);

Function: To provide maintenance access, meeting safety standards (such as GB 4053 "Safety requirements for fixed steel ladders and platforms").

Expansion compensation device

Types: Sliding bearings, spring hangers, expansion joints;

Function: To adapt to boiler thermal expansion (expansion amount can reach 50-100mm), avoiding structural stress concentration.

Products classified by manufacturing process and installation method

Modular steel structure components

Form: Factory prefabricated "column + beam + support" integrated modules (size 2-5 meters), on-site bolted connection;

Advantages: Reduce on-site welding (reduce more than 50%), shorten installation cycle (such as power plant projects from 90 days to 60 days).

Customized non-standard parts

Scenario: Irregular boiler interfaces, special load conditions (such as high temperature, high pressure);

Example: Asymmetric frame structure, waste heat boiler support with arc-shaped cladding.

Special products classified by material and performance

Weathering steel structure

Material: Q355NHD, Q460NH and other weathering steels, forming an oxide protective layer on the surface, resistant to atmospheric corrosion;

Application: Outdoor boilers, coastal projects.

High-strength steel structure

Material: Q420, Q460 high-strength steel, reducing steel consumption by 15%-20% compared to Q355;

Scenario: Large-span beams, supercritical power plant boilers.

Fire-resistant steel structure

Treatment: Surface coated with fire-retardant paint (fire resistance limit ≥2 hours);

Application: Garbage incineration boilers, industrial boilers near the fire source.
